Hello Everyone, I FINALY got to get on my machine so I wanted to say a few things really quick. I wanted to let you know that I am so very appreciative when you just stop by and take a peek at some of the work that I do. It's truely humbling. I hope to start back with ALL of the different types of artwork that I create soon. I've been in a lull reacently, but it's coming back to me now. I just really wanted to say this to you as YOU are the ones that inspire me. Truly, So Thank You, Mary Wallace.

This is a technique i have been experimenting with for about one year and I would greatly appreciate any feedback that you may have. Good or Bad, I take IT ALL in and your opinion's matter to me Greatly.Art forms to me come in many different ways. I try to find something unique and work with it to the best of my ability. This new form is called linen parchment. I use many different ways to stain the linen so that it comes out appearing to be textured like old paper. Art to me is in the eye's of the beholder. And I behold many forms, as God gives you gifts to see things in a whole new perspective. Just run with any new or old ideas you have and something wonderful always comes from it, even if you are the only person in the whole wide world that believes in it. Everyone has this talent, you just have to explore it.Happy hunting on Your next art endeavour and God bless. Thank you for visiting. Keep painting, artist's!!!! Mary P.S. Here are a few pics of my excursion! Hope you enjoy.

After being in a little bit of a rut lately with my pyrography, I've decided to try and get the creative juices flowing with some new art forms. I'll be out in the woods, or looking along the shores, for inspirational, unusual pieces of wood that I can carve or sculpt.
I love pyrography, and will never leave it behind, but so many images call out to my soul from the actual shape of the wood, I want to see if I can bring it out... I'll post some "in progress" pieces as I do them, and will hope that they inspire you as well.
Mary
